Identity & Arts

30th October

Jacqui A. Cooke Art was pleased to be asked to host a "Show Room" event for Black History Month at Fidelity International. I presented a number of original artworks depicting individuals of African descent and the diaspora, proudly representing identity and the arts.

The event was tailored to generate a highly collaborative, immersive and informative visual experience. This included setting up a pop-up cultural experience, that showcased individuals for their excellence.

This was event created a worthy opportunity to reinforce the value for diversity, equality and inclusion, while motivating colleagues and staff members to engage within their office environment.

My Story

With a feeling of overwhelming responsibility, I aim to evoke an emotional response through my artworks, that will challenge historical narratives.

I share my representations, to highlight individuals made invisible, and give them a voice, that has gone unheard.

"I paint what I feel, so you can resonate with the energy, of whom I paint."
